The UAE and Moldova have signed a visa-free agreement aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and facilitating easier tourism and business travel between the two countries.
The agreement, which allows citizens to travel between UAE and Moldova without requiring a visa, was signed during a meeting in Abu Dhabi between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popșoi.
The two sides also explored paths of joint cooperation in various fields, including economic, commercial and investment sectors, as well as other areas supporting the development goals of both nations.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE's aspiration to enhance joint action in various vital sectors that support the two countries' efforts to achieve comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity, national news agency Wam reported.
