The UAE has dropped a second batch of humanitarian aid in northern Gaza, in a joint effort by the UAE Air Force and the Egyptian Air Force, the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
The humanitarian aid was dropped as part of the "Birds of Goodness" operation that aims to help alleviate the suffering of Palestinian people.
Three aircraft carried around 42 tonnes of food and medical aid, bringing the total to 78 tonnes since the operation began, when it was launched in November last year, in line with directives from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
