In a Tweet, the Embassy also provided UAE nationals in Ukraine with phone numbers to contact in case of emergency.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait also issued similar travel advisories for its nationals, and called on their citizens to leave Ukraine amid heightened tensions between Kiev and Moscow.

A string of other countries including Britain, Japan and Australia have also advised their citizens to leave Ukraine.
