Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a temporary traffic diversion at the Umm Al Daman Underpass on Dubai–Al Ain Road, starting June 28.
The diversion will remain in place for two months to facilitate essential infrastructure upgrades.
The works will focus on improving rainwater and groundwater drainage systems, as well as resurfacing the road to enhance driving conditions.
Motorists are advised to use the alternative route via Umm Nahad Bridge (Intersection 4), where a U-turn towards Dubai will be available to help maintain smooth traffic flow during the diversion period.
The RTA urges all commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and follow directional signage to avoid delays.
