The UAE has strongly condemned the Israeli attack that targeted a hospital in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep regret for the loss of life and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities to ensure that civilians are not targeted.
The Ministry further underlined the importance of the protection of civilians, according to international humanitarian law.
The UAE has called on the international community to intensify efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire to prevent further loss of life and to prevent the region from being pulled into new levels of violence, tension and instability.
