The Ruler of Dubai will pay the hospital bills of a British woman who was seriously injured in a horse riding accident.
Twenty-four-year-old Rebecca Chisholm has undergone two surgeries at Rashid Hospital so far but is still not out of danger and faces a prolonged recovery.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took the decision after being informed about her family’s inability to cover the medical costs.

The family of the schoolteacher expressed their gratitude and said it reflects the fact that the UAE’s leadership takes care of visitors to the country.
The CEO of Rashid Hospital Dr. Fahad Ba Saleeb also expressed his gratitude.
