Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Micheál Martin, Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland, discussed strengthening efforts of the international community to protect all civilians affected by the conflict in Gaza.
During the call, the two sides discussed the need to reach a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza.
Martin, who also holds the post of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence, and Sheikh Abdullah stressed the need to accelerate urgent humanitarian response to meet the needs of the Palestinian people and deliver relief and medical aid to civilians safely and sustainably.
The two sides also reviewed several issues of mutual interests related to bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation.
