Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) has successfully completed the first phase of the Al Hadiba Gas Field Development Project, which will more than double the corporation's current gas production.
The project completed despite logistical challenges and supply difficulties, including regional shipping disruptions and material supply constraints.
It began in May 2024 after the discovery of a reserve in the field located north of Sharjah's Al Sajaa Industrial Area. The corporation began producing gas from the field in less than a year.
Preparations have begun for the next phase, aiming to increase gas production in 2027. The field is expected to reach stable production rates by 2028, significantly helping meet future energy demand across the emirate.
Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) CEO Khamis Al Mazrouei said the field is currently one of Sharjah's most prominent gas development projects.
