The Dubai toll-gate operator Salik has announced January 31, 2025 as the start date of implementing its variable pricing policy.
The new pricing structure will apply to all Salik gates in the emirate.
During weekdays, the toll will be AED 6 during peak hours (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), and AED 4 during off-peak hours (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.).
Toll-free passage will be offered from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., while on Sundays, excluding public holidays, special occasions, or major events, the toll will be AED 4.
These timings are applicable throughout the year, except during Ramadan when 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will be considered as peak hours. Off-peak hours during the holy month will be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. will be the timings for toll-free passage during Ramadan.
