Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) Abu Dhabi have announced that parking will be free on the occasion of the Hijri New Year holiday.
All public parking will be free of charge, except multi-storey parking.
Amended hours for their services were also announced.
Taking to their official social media handle, the RTA informed that on Friday, July 21, the Dubai metro will run from 5:00 am to 1:00 am.
The trams will operate from 6:00 am to 1:00 am and the buses from 5:00 am to 12:30 am (the next day).

The ITC posted Abu Dhabi's timings on their Twitter, stating that buses will follow the Friday and official holidays schedule.
Public parking (MAWAQiF) will be free all day Friday, until 7:59 am on Saturday.

Customer Happiness Centres in both cities will be closed, but Dubai's Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Al Kifaf, Deira, Barsha, and RTA HQ will work around the clock.
