Retailers need to use technology to better enhance their customer service. That’s according to a study revealing there’s been too much of a focus on e-commerce platforms and that’s taken away from the in-store experience. The study identified that more than one-third of shoppers believe they are better connected to real-time information than in-store associates. Mark Thomson, retail industry director EMEA, Zebra Technologies who conducted the Global Shopper Study explained to ARN what issues retailers are facing.
