The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a red weather alert for Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah as dense fog blankets the country, impacting visibility.
Issuing a yellow weather alert for the UAE capital, the NCM noted that visibility will be severely reduced across some coastal and internal areas from midnight until 09:00 am on Thursday.
Authorities have advised those travelling between the Emirates to take care on the roads and follow the electronic information boards for speed reductions.
