A driver in Dubai has been handed 23 black points and fined AED2,000 for violating the traffic laws and endangering the life of a delivery rider.
In video posted on Dubai Police's social media, the driver is seen changing lanes dangerously and nearly knocking off the rider several times.
The car has also been impounded for 30 days.
According to the UAE traffic laws, those caught "driving a vehicle in a manner that endangers one's own life, the lives of others, their safety, or security" will be handed a fine of AED 2,000, 23 black points and 30-day vehicle impoundment.
Drivers who cross the yearly limit of 24 black points will face license suspension and court proceedings.
