Environmental penalties in Ras Al Khaimah are being reduced by 50 per cent throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The emirate’s Public Services Department said the move aims to encourage violators to pay off the fines.
It added that the penalties are designed to encourage a better understanding of the need to look after the environment.
