The Ras al-Khaimah Police have arrested a masked thief who stole valuables from multiple vehicles, with an individual who posted videos of the crimes on social media also detained.
The Director General of Police Operations at Ras Al-Khaimah Police, Commander Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, said several reports were received concerning thefts from vehicles after breaking their windows.
He added a specialised team from the Investigations and Criminal Investigations Department was formed and a comprehensive work plan was put in place, through which all the necessary evidence was collected and the process of searching for the culprit was started.
The accused confessed to breaking vehicle windows and stealing valuable contents during police investigations.

The individual who posted videos of the crimes on social media was also arrested and referred to the public prosecution, with the police warning against actions that negatively affect legal procedures by potentially allowing criminals to take subsequent precautions.
