The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast more rain for parts of the UAE until Friday night, driven by a main weather front over the far western regions.
Conditions will gradually extend to the emirate of Abu Dhabi between 1:00 am and 3:00 am on Friday, bringing heavy rain, before reaching the emirate of Dubai, the northern coasts, and southern interior areas.
Rain will then spread to northern and eastern regions, including Al Ain, between 4:00 am and 5:00 am, with continued heavy rainfall.
An orange and yellow alert has been issued by the authority forecasting rainfall and convective cloud formation until 2:30 pm on Friday.
