The Policing and Security conference has begun in Abu Dhabi, under the slogan ‘Global Challenges and Local Solutions’. According to national news agency WAM, delegations from Gulf and Arab countries, the UK, Australia and the US are taking part. In an inauguration speech, Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said the conference will promote the exchange of expertise and best practices. The two-day conference sees presentations on the latest developments and innovations in the policing sector from around the globe.
