Phase 6 of Expo 2020 Dubai roads project opens

Several new roads leading to the Expo 2020 Dubai site are now open.

It’s part of the sixth phase of a major infrastructure project costing AED 3 billion.

The latest stage incudes a bridge extending 1.4 km as well as roads stretching about 8 km.

An improved intersection of Emirates and Expo Roads has also been completed, while a 5 km stretch of Emirates Road has been upgraded.

The project will ensure a smooth traffic flow for Expo visitors and also serve future developments in the area.

Phase 6 of Roads leading to Expo 2020 site will open tomorrow, 22 December. It includes an improved intersection of Emirates and Expo Roads, while the bridges constructed extend 1.4 km and roads built span 8 km. Watch the video for more details. pic.twitter.com/LQS1eLVg4Y
