As part of preparations for the upcoming Federal National Council elections, UAE embassies and diplomatic missions abroad have started work to conduct the voting process. In an unprecedented move, UAE citizens who live abroad and whose names appear in the Electoral College can vote and participate in the FNC elections at 94 missions. Ballot boxes have been dispatched for polls set for September 20th and 21st, two weeks before the date of the elections in the UAE. Members of the Electoral College can check addresses of UAE diplomatic missions by visiting the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at http://www.mofa.gov.ae/
