Five UAE aid convoys carrying more than 2,376 tonnes of food, medical supplies and shelter materials have entered the Gaza Strip this week through Egypt's Rafah Border Crossing.
The convoys, consisting of 100 trucks, is part of the UAE's "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" to support the Palestinian people during the conflict.
This brings the total amount of aid that has entered the Gaza Strip since the opening of the Rafah crossing to more than 10,000 tonnes.
The Emirati team in Al Arish continues to ensure the aid is loaded and delivered to those in need inside the Gaza Strip, national news agency Wam reported.
Since the opening of aid channels, the UAE has doubled its efforts to intensify relief operations to support the Palestinian people.
