The Ministry of Interior (MOI) launched the service this week to eliminate visits made by motorists to service delivery centres.
Renewals can now be done using the smart application or via MOI’s website for the next three months, regardless of outstanding fines, confiscation, traffic points, and technical examination.
In a statement MOI said the step comes as a precautionary measure to maintain the health and safety of residents and to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
