Authorities in the UAE are keeping a close watch on the new coronavirus outbreak in China.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has confirmed that no cases have been reported in the country so far.
It has also reassured that the virus doesn’t pose any risk to the UAE’s public health.
The ministry says it’s got an effective monitoring mechanism in place, with officials at all ports of entry on standby to handle any cases.
It has advised the public to follow preventive health measures and review educational flyers available on its website and official channels.
