Dubai’s Blood Donation Centre says more than 63,000 donors from 149 nationalities have been helping to ensure its needs are met.
In a post on social media, Dubai Health Authority has thanked everyone for taking part.
It says supplies exceed the required levels for any emergencies or critical cases.
The statement adds that the Centre has all of the required blood types, including the rare ones.
In addition, it provides blood units, with the highest levels of safety and quality, to cover patients’ needs in Dubai’s public and private hospitals.
