A man has been arrested in Dubai for the destruction of property.
He reportedly took revenge on his ex-fiancée by pouring liquid solvent over hers and her family's three vehicles.
Brigadier Abdullah Khadem bin Suroor, Director of Bur Dubai Police station, said the force responded to a report filed by the victim and her family claiming that their cars were mysteriously damaged while parked outside their house in Al Quoz.
CCTV footage of the victims' residence showed masked perpetrators on motorcycles pouring chemical liquids over the cars before fleeing the crime scene.
Using the latest technology, police identified one of the offenders as he fit the criminal profile and was wearing the same distinctive clothes he wore when the crime was committed.
The offender confessed saying he committed the crime after an argument with his ex-fiancée.
