Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) warned motorists of delays on Hessa Street on Tuesday due to the ongoing Asia Cup cricket match between India and Sri Lanka.
In a series of tweets, the RTA said Hessa Street near Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road intersection will be badly impacted from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Residents have been "advised to use Umm Suqeim Street" instead, while those living in Dubai Sports City have been tipped to take Al Fay Road as an alternative route.
"Please plan your journeys early," the RTA added.
Expected delay on Hessa Street near Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road intersection today, Tuesday 6 September, from 3 PM to 11 PM, coinciding with the events of the Asia Cup cricket tournament in #Dubai Sports City.
