Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has opened the Emirati Women’s Forum 2026 at Madinat Jumeirah.
The event coincides with Emirati Women’s Day, celebrated this year under the theme, “We Emerge Stronger and Better.”
Organised by the Dubai Women Establishment, the forum brought together around 2,000 senior officials, experts, academics and industry leaders from across the UAE.
The programme featured seven main sessions and six specialised workshops, with speakers discussing the achievements of Emirati women and ways to expand their role in key and future-focused sectors.
The forum also highlighted policies and initiatives supporting women’s participation in the UAE’s development and future.
Sheikha Latifa attended the main sessions and toured the accompanying activations, which showcased the UAE leadership’s support for Emirati women and their contributions to national progress.
Now in its second year, the forum continues to serve as a platform for dialogue, knowledge-sharing and collaboration, helping shape policies and initiatives that strengthen the role of Emirati women in the UAE’s growth and prosperity.
In her opening remarks, Dubai Women Establishment CEO Naeema Ahli said this year’s celebration is especially significant as it marks the Establishment’s 20th anniversary.
She highlighted its achievements over two decades in advancing the role of Emirati women and strengthening their contribution to national development, while praising the vision of H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which has guided the Establishment’s journey.
