Seychelles' 'Blue Economy' is what the UAE can build on, the Ruler of Dubai highlighted during his tour of the country's pavilion at Expo 2020 on Friday.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also extended a warm welcome to Seychelles' President Wavel Ramkalawan.
"They have a development plan called the 'Blue Economy Strategy' that relies on the sea as the most important economic resource," Sheikh Mohammed wrote, adding that this is something the UAE can "learn" and "benefit" from.

The two leaders also discussed ways to enhance ties, especially in the fields of economy, trade and tourism.
Seychelles’ Pavilion highlights the importance of treasuring nature and how the country has banked on several projects to strengthen environmental conservation and sustainability.
