His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, has chaired the third meeting of the Defence Council for 2025.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that strengthening the UAE’s defence capabilities remains a top national priority, and underlined the importance of equipping Emirati talent with the skills and technologies needed to stay ready for future challenges.
The Defence Council reviewed the progress of key programmes and projects aimed at boosting operational readiness and integrating cutting-edge innovation.
Sheikh Hamdan reiterated the leadership’s full commitment to supporting the armed forces and maintaining their status as a global model of efficiency and resilience.
