The Dubai Media Office has denied statements regarding the death of a Filipina in the emirate due to the coronavirus.
The emirate's government clarified that the statements made by the Philippine Minister of Labour were false and that the cause of death was pneumonia.
They also explained that the woman was suffering from a respiratory infection and had tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
