A new smart medical facility has opened in Dubai which will help issue residency visas in just 30 minutes.
The Smart Salem Centre caters to medical fitness and occupational screening, or the medical a resident needs to conduct before receiving their residency visa.
Using the latest in smart technology and artificial intelligence, the centre will help reduce a customer's wait time from 28 hours to 30 minutes.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, opened the Centre on Thursday.
The new facility is equipped with the Fourth Industrial Revolution’s technologies, artificial intelligence, robots and Internet of things, and is an affiliate of the Dubai Health Authority, DHA.
