The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) delivered a shipment of essential medicines and medical supplies to a health unit in Yemen's Hadhramaut.
The assistance was sent to the al-Lima Mall area in the al-Dhais al-Sharqiya Directorate in Hadhramaut, under the "Pulse of the East" campaign, which aims to improve the health sector of Hadhramaut.
The campaign comes in light of the collapse of the services sector, notably the health sector.
The ERC campaign is supplementing ten health centers in the eastern directorates of Hadhramaut to allow civilians to obtain medical care without traveling to main cities.
The ERC's mobile medical clinic also provided health services to the residents of Al Lima Mall area, which included medical examinations and free treatment.
The Director of the Health Office in the Eastern Al-Dees Directorate, Hassan Bin Rabid, praised the effective role of the ERC in improving the level of health services and meeting the needs of citizens.
The Al Lima Mall area is one of the remote eastern areas, causing difficulties for its residents to obtain health and food supplies.
