The Dubai-based carrier is offering free cargo for charities to send relief aid to Pakistan via International Humanitarian City.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; Chairman of Dubai Airports; and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group says the move is in response to UAE leaders' commitments to the relief effort.

"@MohamedBinZayed, President of the UAE, and @HHShkMohd, UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, have directed urgent aid to Pakistan, mobilising people and businesses across the UAE, and we’re ready to play our part," he tweeted.

"To support communities in Pakistan affected by floods, Emirates is offering cargo capacity free of charge for NGOs to transport essential relief goods through the International Humanitarian City," Sheikh Ahmed continued.
