Dubai's Khor Al Mamzar Beach is now open to the public, marking the first phase of the wider Al Mamzar Beaches development project.
The move is in line with efforts to expand Dubai’s coastline and enhance infrastructure, supporting the goal of making the city the world’s best place to live by 2040.
Now open to residents and visitors, the destination adds to Dubai’s growing portfolio of leisure and tourism attractions, with a focus on high-quality public spaces and lifestyle experiences.
Spanning 2.75 million square feet, Khor Al Mamzar Beach offers an integrated beachfront experience, combining relaxation, sports and family-friendly activities.
Dubai Municipality says the project is designed to meet rising demand, with visitor numbers expected to reach seven million annually once the second phase is complete.
The beach has undergone a major transformation, including a 3.6 km swimming shoreline and a 300-metre night beach operating around the clock.
It also features the region’s first floating walkway, more than 5.5 km of walking, running and cycling tracks, along with an outdoor gym, sports courts, and a range of water activities.
"Our objective is to create some of the world’s most advanced and attractive beachfront destinations, reinforcing Dubai’s appeal, sustainability and quality of life while offering exceptional experiences for residents and visitors," said Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
