Public parks and night-swimming beaches across Dubai will remain closed until further notice, Dubai Municipality has confirmed.
The closure comes as the city experienced heavy rainfall over the weekend, which is set to continue on Monday in some parts of the Emirate.
In a Tweet, Dubai Municipality said the temporary closure of public parks is a "safety measure due to the prevailing weather conditions".
Rain is also forecast in some parts of Fujairah and Al Ain on Monday.

The adverse weather conditions led to an increase in calls to emergency services, with a total of 100 calls logged by Dubai Municipality in relation to the heavy downpours.
