Hatta Police Station has organised Hatta Water, a humanitarian community initiative that aims to distribute cold water, juices and ice cream to mitigate the effects of the summer heat on workers.
The initiative comes within the community initiatives launched by the station in a bid to keep workers hydrated in the summer, in addition to building bonds between community groups and supporting others.
Brigadier Mubarak Al Ketbi, Director of Hatta Police Station, explained that the initiative included providing cold water and juices to more than 700 workers in construction projects in the area of jurisdiction, through the work team conducting field visits to those sites.
Brigadier Al Ketbi also thanked the initiative’s partners from government departments in the area of jurisdiction, and the UAE Pulse volunteer team, stressing the centre’s keenness to implement such humanitarian and voluntary initiatives that enhance compassion and solidarity among members of society.
