Dubai Police have beefed up their luxury patrol fleet with the addition of the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580.
The electric vehicle will be stationed at prominent tourist destinations, allowing officers to offer a wide range of services to the public and also raise awareness about the community initiatives of Dubai Police.
Dressed in the force's green livery, the EQS 580 was officially unveiled by Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, at the Dubai Police Officers Club.
The vehicle boasts a dual-engine, generating a remarkable horsepower of up to 516 and accomplishing a 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 4.3 seconds. It can cover up to 717 km with a full charge.
It also features cutting-edge technology, including state-of-the-art artificial intelligence systems and interactive screens.
