Captain Samaa Abdulraheem Safar, Chief of Operational Audit Department for the Internal Audit Office, is the first inspector of financial and administrative systems for Dubai Police's female military unit.
It is one of the most crucial professional specialisations that evaluates activities, operations, systems and surveillance procedures, ensuring practical value to administrative and financial systems according to an internal approach and global standards of best professional practices.
Dr. Mashal Al Zaraouni, director of the Dubai Police Internal Inspection Office, said that the general command of the Dubai Police is proud of this significant role assigned to the female military unit, which has proven its usefulness in all aspects and reflects the Dubai Police's support for Emirati women.
Captain Samaa said, "The tasks of auditing financial and administrative operating systems are specialised tasks that require a high level of administrative, financial and operational knowledge, as well as legal understanding and constant and direct view of policies and procedures applied locally and globally. This is to keep up with future expectations and visions in institutional work, and also requires multiple skills on a personal level to guarantee independence and accuracy in work."
Captain Samaa added that the general command of Dubai Police is a supportive and stimulating environment for youth with a flexible system that supports their ambitions. It significantly empowers young people to take on essential tasks and positions at the security, field and administrative levels, strengthens a sense of institutional belonging, and sharpens powers to make a great effort to continue upgrading their work ethic.
Captain Samaa Abdulraheem Safar has a Bachelor's in Finance and a Master's in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah.
She graduated from the military course of the university and passed all her courses with distinction, and has more than eight years of experience in the field of audit and governance, along with many specialised training certificates.
