Dubai Customs found over 4 kg of drugs carefully hidden inside car parts, which were stashed inside a secret compartment of a traveller's suitcase.
Dubai Customs posted a picture of the drugs on social media that showed narcotic herb stuffed around the inside of car air filers in a bid to avoid detection.
The post stated: "Officers were able to detect an attempt by an African traveler coming to the UAE to smuggle 4.25 kilograms of the narcotic substance which was distributed in a professional manner inside the car engine filter."
