US President Donald Trump commended the UAE's prominent role in supporting his peace plan to end the war in Gaza during his speech at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt on Monday.
Trump expressed his gratitude to the Arab and Muslim nations that contributed to the breakthrough in the Gaza Ceasefire Agreement, highlighting his appreciation to the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in supporting his plan.
He also thanked several other participating countries including Egypt, Turkey and Qatar for their role.
Trump announced that the "war in Gaza is over", stating that humanitarian aid will now begin entering in Gaza.
The US President also emphasised on the "peace in the Middle East" highlighting a new beginning in Gaza. "And now, the rebuilding begins," he added.
