Six establishments have been shut down by Dubai Municipality for not complying with the precautionary measures to combat COVID-19.
The authority took action against a shisha cafe in Al Murar area for staying open after 1:00 am, while a laundry in Al Qusais Industrial Area 4 was closed for violating health and hygiene guidelines.
Closure orders were also issued to a salon and a massage centre in Mirdif, in addition to two salons in Al Barsha 1.
Three outlets were fined and 36 others were handed warnings during the latest round of inspections that covered 2,236 establishments.
