The UAE has confirmed 1,214 new cases of COVID-19 from 83,146 tests.
Another 670 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 158,498.
Meanwhile, three more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 589.
A total of 175,276 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 16,189 are currently active.
