Hotels and other venues in Dubai have been asked to suspend weekend brunches as part of efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) has issued a circular to establishments asking them to postpone any activity that leads to large gatherings such as weekend brunches, until the end of the month.
The directive is in line with Dubai's recent decision to reduce the capacity in hotels, malls and entertainment and sports venues, while restaurants are required to close at 1:00 am.
The measures will remain in place until February 28.
