Two Emirati brothers, aged 27 and 17, have died after their car skidded off the Emirates Bypass road in Ras Al Khaimah.
Initial investigations have revealed that the driver lost control of the steering wheel and veered off the road. It flipped several times, leaving the boys trapped inside.
Police teams rushed to the site after being alerted about the incident at 5:00 pm on Thursday.
They said one of the brothers died on the spot, while the other was declared dead after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
A third passenger is being treated for critical wounds.
The authority has urged motorists to adhere to the speed limits when driving on highways.
