The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced the death of a cancer patient who was recently flown from the Gaza Strip to receive treatment.
The 35-year-old woman was battling an advanced stage of the disease and faced numerous complications.
"Upon her arrival in the country, the patient, who was dealing with several complications, was immediately transferred to a specialised health facility for treatment. Despite the efforts to improve her condition, her health deteriorated further, leading to her death," MoHAP said in a statement.
The ministry extended its condolences to the patient's family.
