Pilots reporting for duty at the UAE's airports are now subject to breathalyser tests.
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) says it is now carrying out the alcohol tests at all civil airports in the country.
Those exceeding an alcohol limit of 0.02 grams (20mg) will not be permitted to fly.
Since the initiation of Alcohol Testing in 2018, the test is being carried out randomly.
A total of 22 tests have been carried out since the launch and necessary enforcement actions were taken against the violators
