A number of mosques in UAE capital Abu Dhabi will be named after martyrs. According to national news agency WAM, these will include soldiers who sacrificed their lives while performing civil, military or humanitarian duties inside or outside the country. Mosques that will be selected are the ones near the residences of the martyrs' families. The move is a joint initiative of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
