Nine people have been injured in seven separate accidents in Abu Dhabi's deserts, which authorities blame on riders' reckless behaviour.
Posting on social media, Abu Dhabi Police did not specify when the accidents occurred.
Riders have been advised to wear protective gear and adhere to traffic rules and ensure their bikes are in good condition before heading out to the desert.
Parents have also been encouraged to accompany their children, especially when riding in uninhabited sandy locations.
Abu Dhabi Police said it has intensified checks on both internal and external roads to catch those violating traffic laws.
