All SEHA centres in Abu Dhabi now offer COVID-19 booster jabs for children, senior citizens and residents without having to make a prior appointment.
Making the announcement, the Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH) confirmed that both Sinopharm and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines are available at these centres.
People can also get their first and second dose of the vaccine on a walk-in basis.
This announcement comes only days after authorities in the capital opened two centres dedicated to students and educators ahead of the school season.
In a statement, the DOH said vaccines are the only way to curb the spread of COVID-19 and ensure that lives "return to normal".
