The "One Nation. One People" community initiative aimed at promoting unity among citizens and residents has been launched by the Design Commission Abu Dhabi.
Chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, tt is designed to highlight shared values and a sense of belonging among people from different backgrounds living in the UAE.
It's inviting participation from schools, businesses, government entities and community groups across the emirate, with activities planned to encourage engagement and interaction.
These include a portrait series featuring people working together across sectors, as well as short videos reflecting on community values and coordinated events involving institutions and local groups.
The initiative will also involve schools and educational institutions, with a focus on encouraging younger generations to engage with ideas of inclusion, respect and shared responsibility.
Authorities say the programme reflects broader efforts to strengthen social cohesion and community ties across the UAE.
