A health care facility in Abu Dhabi has been penalised for manipulating the price of a PCR test.
Taking to their official Twitter handle, the capital’s Department of Health reemphasized that the price of a single PCR test has been set at AED 65.
The authority warned healthcare facilities not to "impose any additional fees or offer discounts".
The test is free for those who show symptoms, the authority added.
DoH has issued a fine to a #healthcare facility for not abiding by the fixed price for the #COVID19 (PCR) test, which is revised to be AED 65 for a single run, including collection and testing of the sample, according to circular No (2021/35). pic.twitter.com/a0SHTF5vYq
